Culley’s work is a reflection of memory using images that trace the absences left by old presences.  Culley use of everyday object appears at first sight conventionally   normal but it is only with a second glance that her subtle use of tromp l’oil and illusion cunningly plays with our imagination and the viewer's perception.

British Airways being avid collectors of her work had recently commissioned 'Where the Winds Blow'. Using original fine pen drawings of swinging chandeliers, Culley has digitally applied the images to four large glass panels, adorned with billowing semi-transparent curtains.
